Peaseblossom is the final pattern in The Handmaidens - Dream Collection, a collection that consists of four patterns, three individual and this exclusive pattern - not available to purchase alone. Buying the collection represents a large saving and is the only way to obtain Peaseblossom. This collection is part of the Dream Collection Trio - Three Collections all inspired by Midsummer Night’s Dream.

Peaseblossom, a floral little handmaiden to Titania from Midsummer Night’s Dream, This shawl was inspired by summer flowers, heady perfume, light warm breezes and bright blue skies.

This shawl is cool as a cucumber in Handmaiden Lino or super sultry in Pure Silk Lace - really, any laceweight yarn will be suitable for this shawl (800m/100g) each different yarn giving you a quite different result but will definitely be shawl you will want to knit again and again!

I used 560m of Lino and approx 1000 beads. The size as written – 22 inches (56 cm) deep and 83 inches (211 cm) wide but this pattern is easily adaptable though it is important to remember that both your yardage and bead requirements will increase should you increase the main body section.

The pattern is both written and fully charted with bead placement indicated throughout.

If you like my designs please join us in the Boo Group where you will find a place to discuss my patterns, show off your knitting and hear about KALs and MKALs.

Patterns already set up by KnitCompanion can be purchased, in the KnitCompanion Store, for knitters who like to use KnitCompanion, but prefer to have their charts already set up.
