This cosy headband is knitted in Jamieson’s of Shetland Heather to co-ordinate with the Pebble Dash Slipover (see separate pattern). It’s a quick knit, worked in the round with a few rounds of ribbing top and bottom, and the stranded colourwork rounds between.

I knitted mine on 3.5mm and 4.5mm needles - if you want it a little larger / looser, use 4mm and 5mm instead. The pattern repeat is over 15 stitches and 14 rounds. I used just under one ball of North Sea (main colour), and only a little of the contrast colours - if you’re knitting the slipover too, you’ll have enough left of the contrast colours, but you may want an extra ball for the background.
