Pebbles Dishcloth
The PEBBLES DISHCLOTH Knitting Pattern:
This easy, dishcloth knitting pattern is well suited to beginner knitters.
It is works up using approximately 54 meters (or, just under 60 yards) of Bernat Handicrafter cotton yarn, or a similar yarn, on 4.5mm (US7) needles. One skein is enough to knit one dishcloth, with a little bit left over.
This dishrag is worked flat on straight needles, or a circular needle, whichever you prefer working with. You will need to know how to cast on, how to work the knit stitch and the purl stitch, and how to cast off and weave in your yarn tails.
This dishcloth would make a lovely home decor gift for someone moving into a new home. Consider working it up in a colour that would coordinate beautifully with their new kitchen.
Or, consider working it up as a facecloth or washcloth and coordinating with their new bathroom or nursery colour.
Fold and wrap with a beautiful ribbon or a piece of rafia for that special finishing touch.
