Pebbles Hat
A beautiful slouchy hat with simple, yet fascinating cables is what I love most. I can never get enough of them. And they will always find their way onto my needles, regardless of color. Have you got a lonesome skein of DK weight yarn wanting to become a pretty “Pebble” hat? Why not CO now!
Size
One size: to fit 54-56 cm/21-22” circumference.
Length from brim to top - about 25.5 cm/10.25”.
Yarn
1 skein of West Wool Tandem: 90% Falkland merino, 10% texel. 230 m/250 yards per 100 grams. Shown in color “Pebble”.
Needles
4.00 mm/US #6 circular needle (at least 40 cm/16” long) and dpns, or appropriate size to get gauge;
3.25 mm/US #3 circular needle (at least 40 cm/16” long) or dpns, or three sizes smaller than gauge needles.
Other
1 stitch marker, cable needle, tapestry needle for weaving.
Gauge
28 sts and 28 rnds in 10 cm/4” in cable pattern worked in the rnd with needle 4.00 mm/US #6. Take time to save time and check your gauge. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
