This shawl is inspired by the textures and colors of nature. The shawl is knitted side to side, starting with 10 stitches cast on, increasing and decreasing to create a slight curve. The darker color edge is done by picking up stitches along the finished edge of the body of the shawl, knitting in stockinette stitch, adding bobbles and a crochet edge. The elegance and simplicity of the shawl is enhanced by small details. Picking up stitches, making bobbles that create texture, offer an opportunity for a meditative reflective practice, or offer present moment awareness. Picking up stitches, making bobbles, can seem tedious, yet take time to exhale and find joy in these stitches.

Shawl Body: 1 skein Silvermoon
Bobble Edge: 1 skein Grey Wolf
Optional Crochet Border: 1 skein Au Natural
