The Pebbles Market Bag pattern is made with 100% cotton worsted weight yarn. Acrylic is NOT recommended.

5 mm hook
300-400 yards of Lilly’s Sugar & Cream yarn
Other brands may need additional materials.

The pattern is worked in continuous rounds for the bottom and joined rounds for the sides. It also contains a couple of turning rounds for the pebble stitches.

Utilizes the following stitches:
Slip Stitch
Single Crochet
Half Double Crochet
Pebble Stitch

The bag can be made larger or smaller by adding or subtracting rounds to the bottom. It can also be made taller or shorter by adding or subtracting rounds from the sides. Instructions are not provided for this. But if you have a good understanding of crocheting in the round, you will have no problem.

Gauge for this pattern is as follows: Worked Rounds 1-4 of the bag bottom instructions should measure approximately 3 1/2” .

Measurements:
14” (long) x 12”(wide) when laid flat.

Note: When I made my handles at first I thought I had made them too short as the bag was up under my armpit. But once weight was added to the bag, it was just about perfect. So don’t be too quick to add extra stitches to your bag handles.
