Pebbles Socks
The beaches of the Pacific Northwest are not sandy, but rather are strewn with miles and miles of rocks. And the closer you get to the water, the smoother and rounder the rocks become, having been tumbled repeatedly by the waves. The lace pattern in these socks reminds of the rows of smooth little pebbles that line the shore. The pattern is easy to memorize, and makes for quick and simple socks to knit that are also quite elegant.
Size
Sized for women. Length can be adjusted as desired in both leg and foot. Ankle is 10” around at widest point. For a narrower sock, use 2.25 or 2.5 mm needles.
