Using Whidbey yarn held double, the Pebbly Tray begins with an I-cord edge that seamlessly transitions into a sturdy linen stitch for the sides. Next, the fabric is skillfully divided into two layers to fit over either side of the wooden base. The fabric is carefully positioned and sewn, creating a beautifully finished tray that is both functional and stylish.

This project uses the following techniques:
• Cast on
• Working in the round
• Knitting and purling
• Simple finishing

Watch the accompanying video to learn how to attach the knitted fabric to the wooden base.
