Peekaboo Pals Avocado: This crochet plushie makes finding the perfect avocado easy & no knife is required to slice! Pull back the peel to transform this plushie from an unassuming piece of produce into a happy lil avocado friend, complete with a pit in its belly.

Peekaboo Pals Egg: Meet the latest addition to the Peekaboo Pals family: Peekaboo Pals Egg. This Egg-cellent transforming crochet plushie has a shell you can peel to reveal an adorable, happy yolk inside. You won’t be able to resist cracking a smile every time it cracks open!

These patterns are written in English using US crochet terms and are both intended for use with blanket yarn. I used Bernat Blanket, but it works well with Premiere Basix Chenille, Parfait Chunky, Sweet Snuggles & Sweet Snuggles Lite, Yarn Bee Cozy Occasion, or any other super bulky or bulky weight yarn. You can use worsted weight acrylic as well for a smaller end result. Not recommended for use with cotton yarn. Finished Avocado is approx. 7 inches tall & finished Egg is approx. 6 inches tall when made using Bernat Blanket.

Materials needed:

Blanket yarn in main color

Blanket yarn in alternate color

6.5mm crochet hook

12mm felt or safety eyes (for Avocado)
10mm felt or safety eyes (for Egg)

Polyfil stuffing (or stuffing material of choice)

Craft glue (if using felt details)

Yarn needle, scissors, stitch markers

Black & red felt or 18 inches black acrylic worsted weight yarn (for mouth)
