Peekaboo Pals Potato
Be careful, it’s hot! Just kidding :) You won’t burn your fingers on Peekaboo Pals potato. Peel the potato skin back to transform it & reveal the toppings: chives and an adorable lil pat of butter, or go fully loaded! Peekaboo Pals Potato is just as cute as it is fun to play with.
This pattern is 10 pages long with over 40 photos and info-graphics to help walk you through the process. If you are confused at any point during the construction process, I have included a link to a video covering color changes, fitting & sewing your potato skin, as well as making and attaching your toppings.
Difficulty: advanced beginner crocheters and up. Some experience with amigurumi is recommended.
I used Premier Basix Chenille (a blanket yarn), but this pattern works for any style/type of yarn. You will need to use the appropriate hook for your yarn choice. The yarn is listed in detail below, noting what each color is used for, in case you want to limit the colors required for this project.
