Peerie Flooers
Peerie Flooers
This familiar hat remains one of my all-time favourites. Knitters seem to love its cheerful motifs just as much as I do, and I was very happy when I was invited to provide some knitwear samples for the BBC TV crime series, Shetland , and Peerie Flooers appeared on screen sported by a somewhat dubious archaeologist. I’ve knitted Peerie Flooers several times, in several different yarns, and it is great to be able to finally knit it in my own yarn, Milarrochy Tweed.
