A 2nd larger size has been added to the pattern and measures approximately 15” wide x 50” long after blocking.

In my younger years, fresh out of high school, I moved to Halifax, NS where I worked in a fabric store on Barrington Street - very close to the water front. A few years later, after marriage and 3 babies, we made a yearly trip to a beloved spot on the coast called Peggy’s Cove. I loved to sit on the huge boulders watching the waves and tossing stones into the ocean. Occasionally we would spot water bugs skidding across pools of water and little crabs hiding behind seaweed. The smell of the Atlantic Ocean and the breeze in my hair take me back to a very happy time in my life.
