Penbrooke
This sweater is a wardrobe staple – simple yet elegant. It features some subtle design elements such as short rows to shape the shoulders and turn the sleeves, a split body hem with slightly overlapping edges, and a deep but narrow v-neck, while the stripe pattern makes for quick and fun knitting throughout. Worked in stockinette stitch, this sweater is so easy that it all but knits itself.
As written, the pattern calls for four colors of fingering weight yarn, but you can incorporate as many colors as you’d like. Use up your partials, mix and match bases, change the size of the stripes – this is an easy-to-customize sweater, and it’s even easier to style.
Here is a link to the project page for the sample.
