Pence Jug to Knit
This project is a generic pence jug, one that draws upon several pence-jug patterns to give the knitter an introduction to creating a jug. I have included mirrored decreases, which the Victorians rarely used. The initial part of the spout is decreased on alternate sides, on alternate rounds, as occurs in some patterns. The finished jug makes a nice ornament and offers a novel way to present a small gift.
