PATTERN INFORMATION

SKILLS NEEDED

• The skill level needed is beginner.
• The techniques you will need to know include: chain, single crochet, slip stitch, increase, working in the back loops of a stitch, and the adjustable (magic) ring.

MATERIALS NEEDED
To complete the Crochet Pencil Chapstick Holder and Keychain you will need:

• yarn in your choice of colors (about 22 yds of worsted/aran),
• a size E/4 (3.5 mm) crochet hook,
• stitch markers,
• tapestry needle,
• scissors,
• keyring

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
+ Using hook size E/4 (3.5 mm) the pencil measures approximately 3.75 inches (9.5 cm) long, 2 7/8 inches (7.3 cm) in circumference, and 1 inch (2.5 cm) in diameter at the top of the pencil.
