• magic circle
• chain
• single crochet
• crab stitch - optional - you can do single crochet instead of crab stitch

Pattern includes 37 pictures of the process making the gnome and 7 pages of instructions.

Materials used:

• acrylic yarn (medium/worsted weight/size 4) - white, light green, medium green, yellow, beige - I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn
• crochet hook - C/2 - 2.75 mm
• fiberfill
• piece of cardboard
• buttons, embellishments of your choice - optional
• tapestry needle

The Pencil Hat Gnome is approx. 9.5 inches (24 cm) tall using acrylic yarn (medium/worsted) and 2.75 mm (C/2) crochet hook. The size of the finished gnome depends on the size of yarn and hook you use!
