Pencil Scarf Teacher Gift
Pattern calls for slightly more than 1/2 skein of Caron Simply Soft in Sunshine, and minimal amounts of Bone, Grey Heather, and Black, as well as Loops & Threads Soft & Shiny in Pink.
Gauge is unimportant, but will effect finished size. As instructed, scarf measures 4 inches wide and 66 inches long.
This is a great beginner’s pattern, with stitch descriptions included. The pattern uses US crochet terms. If you need additional help, I highly recommend the video tutorials for the basic stitches found on Mooglyblog.com.
The only aspect that I would say is at all difficult in this scarf is one row which requires you to crochet into the loop BEHIND the back loop of a stitch. I did include a photo, but if it is still unclear, there are many video tutorials out there that can help.
