Pender Cardigan
Twisted rib, traveling stitches, and tactile patterns in the Pender Cardigan evoke textures of farmland and forest. Knit in soft-spun, chunky Hinterland Watershed, this sweater is perfect for keeping cozy through Pacific Northwest winters.
The fronts, back, and sleeves of the Pender Cardigan are worked separately and seamed together to create a structured shape, and set-in sleeves keep the bulky fabric flattering. Details like the set-in pockets and sideways cuffs and bands add visual interest as well as warmth, and the unconventional joining of the button bands creates a sturdy, snug twisted rib collar.
