Knit mittens with the colors of the sunset. These mittens features Southwestern patterns inspired by the designs on the Pendleton Wool Circular Needle Cases. Interweave Knits editor Meghan Babin designed these mittens with these patterns in mind, evoking the adventurous look of the Pacific Northwest.

Sizes: 7½“ hand circumference and 12” long from cuff to fingertip.
Yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Loft (100% targhee-columbia wool; 275 yd 251 m/1¾ oz 50 g): woodsmoke (gray; MC), old world (dark blue; CC1), homemade jam (red-violet; CC2), wool socks (red; CC3), embers (orange; CC4), and hayloft (yellow; CC5), 1 ball each.
Needles: Sizes 0 (2 mm) and 1 (2.25 mm). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Notions: Marker (m); cable needle (cn); waste yarn for provisional CO and thumbs; tapestry needle.
