Penelope For 18 Inch American Girl Dolls - Round Yoke Cardigan Sweater w/ Embossed Leaf Details

Embossed leaves dance around the yoke and down the sleeves, against an understated background of reverse stockinette stitch to create a sweater that’s both classic and modern. Penelope is a round yoke cardigan with A-line shaping, worked seamlessly in one piece from the top-down. An I-cord belt functions as a closure and extends the leaf motif of the sweater with 3-dimensional leaves that are knit circularly, so both sides look the same. Pattern includes schematic with detailed measurements.

Designed to fit 18” (46cm) dolls with a chest circumference of approx. 11” (28cm), such as American Girl, Australian Girl, Gotz, Maplelea Girl and similar dolls.

The difficulty level of this pattern is: Intermediate - requires a knowledge of (or willingness to learn) basic knitting skills, increasing, decreasing, working in the round on DPNs, picking up stitches, and working I-cord.
