Measurements
This lovely crochet pattern is written in 5 sizes, from XS-XL. It is made to fit bust size: 34”- 36”- 38”- 40”- 42” (= 86,3 - 91,4 - 96,5 - 101,6 - 106,7 cm)

You can follow measurements in schematics, but if you prefer a different lenght, the pattern is customizable; you can add as many rounds as you like. You can also add a bit of a flare towards the end.

Color combos
You get to really experiement with the final look on this poncho, as different color combos will give a total different look. I suggest using a dark color as your basic color if you’d like to make the stitch pattern pop, but there’s no one right way to combine colors.

Construction
The poncho is worked in the round and in one piece. This means that there aren’t any seams to sew afterwards. You start at the top with a basic ribbing pattern and after the yoke, you transition into the chevron pattern. You can keep the yarn ends to a minimum, as you don’t have to break the yarn after each round.

Written Pattern (US terms)
This pattern is fully written with clear step-by-step instructions. Use extra photo - illustrations + charts as needed (read below)

Stitch Pattern
I included photo-instructions as well as a chart sample, showing you how to make the interesting ripple v-stitch pattern. This means that you don’t need any prior experience with ripple patterns to make this poncho, only an interest in learning. Reading the charts is optional - it is made for crocheters who like the quick overview of charts, but you can make the poncho following only the written pattern.

Use
The finished result is a unique crochet garment, that stands out and looks flattering, matched with jeans as well as various kinds of skirts. Suitable for fall, winter, spring - and summer nights too if you live in Northern Europe :-)

Materials
I listed suggested yarn and yardage in the description box above. You can also use acrylics, but if it’s a garment that will be used multiple times, I would suggest a good quality superwash wool yarn, as this is very durable in washing as well as daily use.
