This pattern is a simple, elegant fingerless glove that shines in a solid or semi-solid yarn with a tight twist. It features a variation on the classic braid cable with a touch of lace for a delicate detail.

Instructions are both written and charted for the cable and lace portion. Instructions for thumb gusset are written. I have also included some tips, suggestions, and reminders throughout the pattern making this suitable for someone trying new skills for the first time.

I used A Hundred Ravens Iachos for the sample shown, in the Rose Tyler colorway. I discovered this company while at Stitches South and fell in love with the soft yarn and gorgeous saturated colorways. I loved working with it highly recommend you give it a try if you haven’t yet.
