When I was attending college, I had a friend by the name of Penelope and she always wore a poncho! I would probably have walked right passed her if she wasn’t wearing her poncho! She would tell me that she felt hugged all day and that is why she loved her poncho so much. I wonder if it was like a toddler with her blankie? Anyways, in honor of Penelope, I designed this poncho, the Penelope Poncho.

The Penelope Poncho is knit from the bottom up, front and back. Joined at the shoulder seams, the collar is a loose cowl neck and the bottom edging is knit in the round.
