I got a request for a braided baby hat. So I first tried something in cheap Acrylic yarn.
As I love the penguins so much I just put them on this hat.
And it all worked out just fine.

The penguin baby cap has two earflaps with braids, a short ribbing and the paper doll like penguins on it..
At the top is a nice winter star pattern and a tiny yellow pompon.
I had so much fun making it and still can’t put it out of my hand :)

I knit the hat in Buttinette Versailles yarn. So if you are not in Germany, just take a look at the yarn specifications. Anything similar will do :)

I will make another one in pink for a friend expecting a girl in late October.

Ich hab eine Anfrage für eine bindbare Kindermütze bekommen… Und das war dann mein erster Versuch. Hat gleich geklappt und ich glaub, davon kann ich mich nicht trennen. Den werd ich als Prototypen behalten :)
Aber die Mütze wahrscheinlich noch mind. 1 x nachstricken.
In pink/himbeer für eine liebe Kollegin, die demnächst ein Mädel bekommt.
Gestrickt ist sie aus Buttinette Acrylwolle Versailles.
