2022: Since I’ve been retired from pattern making for a while now and this pattern is old, I decided to make it free.

This banner uses the corner to corner crochet technique and features an adorable penguin. Perfect for a baby nursery! The pattern includes a color graph and written instructions for C2C. PDF has 6 pages.

You will need:

♥ I/5.5mm hook
♥ 7/16” wooden dowel, cut to 14.5”(36.8cm) length.
♥ Worsted weight yarn in pink, black, orange, and white.
Shown in Caron Simply Soft Solids (100% acrylic, 315 yd/6oz) in:

• Soft Pink, approx. 245 yards.
• Gold, approx. 5 yards.
• White, approx. 40 yards.
• Black, approx. 70 yards.

Size:
12” (30.5cm) wide x 15.5” (39.40cm) from the bottom point to the top.

Results will vary depending on your tension and your yarn & hook choice.
