Penguin C2C Pillow
This pattern is ideal for a Pillow. It can also be made into a square for a blanket, a hot pad or dishcloth by adjusting the size using a single crochet or half double crochet instead of the double crochet. This is only for one side of the pillow. The other side can be another pillow pattern, a plain C2C square or a plain bobble square. They just need to be the same size.
The graph can be used as a C2c crochet pattern or bobble stitch. The pattern includes both instructions.
Gauge – C2C: 4 rows = 3” for a 20” pillow
Bobble: 6 bobble stitches/sc = 4” for 18” pillow
You can use any thickness of yarn, just make sure your hook matches the type of yarn. The pillow is 20” x 20” using #4 worsted yarn. The yardage for the various colors is included in the pattern. There are many colors used for this project, but no color requires more than 1 skein of yarn.
If you want a smaller C2C pillow or the stitches are too loose, chain 5 instead of 6 to start the new row and chain 2 instead of 3 on the rest of the tiles.
