This dishcloth is a simple pattern suitable for beginners. Skills needed are cast-on, cast-off, knit and purl.

My finished dishcloth weighs in at 39 grams, so you will need most of a 50 gr ball of worsted weight cotton yarn.

Please choose a set of needles a size or two smaller than you would normally use to knit this yarn and choose a solid colour yarn. When you are done, block your dishcloth. These three suggestions will help the picture to ‘pop’.
