This knitting pattern includes instructions to make either fingerless mittens or full length mittens. It is a stranded color work pattern worked in two colors. The back of hand features a sweet penguin in a snowstorm with an evergreen tree at the top. The palm is a traditional Norwegian criss-cross pattern and the thumb is worked at the side of the mitten. It’s designed to match my Penguin March Hat. I would consider this an intermediate level pattern for a person who has experience carrying longer floats across the back of their work.

As written the pattern produces an adult size large. Size may be be adjusted by using different weight yarn and/or needles. If you need help adjusting the size please contact me. I’m always happy to help.
