This doll might be a challenge for a beginner, but not impossible! Basic crochet stitches are used, but does assume prior experience with sewing together the doll and simple crochet stitches including Sc. I’ve linked to my favorite tutorials to help you get started with the few most important stitches such as the magic circle.

You have to be able to make the following stitches in this pattern:
chain stitch, single crochet, increase, decrease. The most complicated amigurumi stitch is the one we use to start all circular patterns with, the magic circle.

The pattern is a PDF file.

You will need:
• Crochet hooks appropriate for your yarn (I used 5mm)
• Tapestry needle for sewing together
• Yarn suitable for crochet hook in 2 colors, plus some scrap white and black.
• Toy stuffing (polyester)
• Marker (we work in the round so this makes your life easier)
