Penguin Ruckus Worsted
Want to learn Colorwork? Check out my class at Knit Stars here - you can buy it on its own or with all of Season 6. You can also meet Sharon From Security who sometimes designs patterns and pretty much always offers opinions. She actually has been fed this month so please don’t hit my in-box with PETA threats.
This hat was inspired by my recent teaching trip to Antarctica where I wanted the participants to make a special souvenir from their trip. They made the worsted version (shown here) which has different stitch counts than the DK version, and is done in Blue Sky Woolstok worsted. The pink and aqua on the left is the DK version and it is a separate pattern on Ravelry but is free when you buy this version.
The Penguin Ruckus DK patterns are also included as PDFs with the Penguin Ruckus Worsted in your library because Sharon From Security said it’s a requirement or she’s quitting. She also said to make sure to choose the pattern with the proper yarn weight and if you screw that up and knit a tiny hat, don’t come to her because she’s not reknitting it for you (just the messenger here, just the messenger. You think I wanna be on her bad side?!)
There is also a cowl coming soon!
