This is a simple pattern with simple shaping. It is designed to be a fast and fun project, yet the techniques used can be applied to many different projects. For example, the casing used is essentially a rolled-edge cast-on, which is perfect for the bottom hem of a sweater.

Although the design is stockinette stitch, this pattern can easily be altered to incorporate color-work, cables, or textures. It is also the perfect canvas to practice duplicate stitch techniques.

The size of the garment can easily be customized to accommodate men of larger or smaller proportions. The size included may seem a bit large at first glance, but it is big enough to allow for… ummm…expansion.
