Penny Candy Winter
Wintery cousin of very popular Penny Candy Tee. Penny Candy Winter is a long sleeved pullover in worsted-weight wool, featuring signature stripes & lace all around. It is a quick knit that is feminine & fun!
Three shapes: straight (readily modified to shape-as-you-go ~ high, low, lots, or a little) and two ‘bell shapes’; moderate bell, or extra curvy bell. Combination raglan & circularly decreasing yoke, with two options for neckline width/height. Knit in-the-round, bottom-up, with signature four colors, and with options of three or two. Child size 26 to adult size 48
It is essential to make a proper gauge swatch. If you knit at all loosely, you will need to go down a needle size. Be sure to make a proper circular-knit (in-the-round) & wet-blocked gauge swatch so that you can have an accurate fit, and change needle sizes and garment size if necessary. Please see my tutorial on 3-in-1 Swatch to get a thorough & more exact stitch-gauge swatch.

Helpful guidelines to choose shape elaborated on in this post HERE.
INTERMEDIATE SKILL LEVEL: This pullover is not appropriate for a beginner sweater project as it has complicated sections which require keeping pattern correct through shaping and color changes. I do not recommend this pattern for improvising unless one is experienced.
Accompanying Penny Candy Hat makes a great little project with which to test gauge for this sweater, or to just knit if you have left overs!
