The Penny vest is worked top down. First, the back is worked from the shoulders to under the armholes. Follow by picking up stitches along each shoulder individually, shaping the shoulders with German short rows, and as you continue casting on stitches towards the centre, the neck- line is shaped. Front and back are joined together from under the armholes and worked in the round, finishing with a rib. Lastly, finish by weaving in all ends. Wash the vest to get a softer look.
