The cables are worked on the front and sides, while the back of the legs and the soles of the feet are worked in a rib pattern. Carol’s socks are knitted in King Cole’s soft Forest Aran, which is spun from 100% recycled fibres. It’s a tweedy yarn which is available in 12 earthy shades, and can be machine washed on a cool setting.
