Penstripes is a geometric, Art Deco-ish scarf constructed using log cabin techniques (hurrah, no seams!). The original Penstripes was made in garter stitch using Ixchel Bunny Mink, at an approximate gauge of 24 stitches to 10cm.

Although this is listed as a pattern it’s really more of a template - use whatever yarn of whatever weight you’d like to make a scarf of whichever size you choose.

I used 4 x 50g skeins of Bunny Mink to make a scarf that is 29 x 224cm.
