A five-sided polygon motif is the basis for these clever mitts. Make the motifs that adorn the palm and the back of the hand, then add finishing rows. You’ll welcome an abundance of warmth and color with this variegated sock yarn.

Mitts can be made larger as follows:
For Size Medium only: Turn and repeat Row 1, one time. For Size Large only: Turn and repeat Row 1, two times.

All the rounds are worked on the right side without turning. After the hand sections, the hand sides are seamed and the wrist section is added.

Reserve 3” (7.5 cm) per single crochet (plus slip knot and tail) for seaming. (Mitts in photo are whipstitched.) Whipstitching takes the least amount of yarn of you’re short on fiber.

Writtien instructions and stitch diagrams are provided. Use either type alone, or both together as needed.
