This is a simple, small doily featuring a pentagram design in the center.

Simple and quick, this doily looks nice as it is and also can be used as the base or foundation for a larger design.

Using the recommended materials (1.65mm hook and size 10 crochet thread) it is about 6 inches (15 cm) wide at its widest point. You can use larger thread with a larger hook in order to make it larger and you shouldn’t have to adjust the pattern. There is no gauge, but the project should not warp as you’re making it, so you can adjust the hook size to match your tension, as needed.
