Peony is a lightweight texture and lace shawl, elegantly combining function with beauty. It is worked from the top-down, starting with a garter-stitch tab and ending with a delightful picot bind off. The shawl features a two-stitch garter spine, interrupted seed stitch, and a modified layette lace.

The modified layette lace requires working knit and purl on the wrong side of work. Pattern has fully written and charted instructions.
