Peony
About to bloom, And exhale a rainbow, The peony! – Buson
Peony is textured centre flower design worked in the round. It is an ongoing expandable pattern created by repeating a set of 3 rounds after the centre section is completed. This means you can make anything from a place mat to a bed spread depending on how many times you repeat the design. Peony is an easy level pattern that even a confident beginner would be able to complete.
Materials needed:
Peony was designed to make a baby blanket using any weight of yarn of approximately 1000m+. The finished size of the sample is approximately 90cm using 860m of Aran weight merino by Mahogany Turtle in Rose Gold.
