Pepita Jiménez” by Juan Valera, one of my favourite childhood novels, tells the story of a young widow who captures the heart of a seminarian. As a child, I was deeply impressed by this character, a woman who managed her estate — a rare feat for her time. This sweater is inspired by the gatherings Pepita attended, reflecting her conservative yet attractive and feminine attire. It embodies the spirit of a woman in control of her world. - Claudia
