This is a top down knitted in round dress with straps finished with a crochet hook (there are directions on how to knit an i-cord strap instead of crocheting) .
The skirt part is knitted in two steps, giving the option to only have one tier if preferred.
The finishing is made with a tapestry needle to pull in the ends.
This pattern requires some practice in knitting in round and picking up stitches on a knitted garment.

I created a video tutorial for this dress, here is the link to my youtube channel here. https://www.youtube.com/@marwians

Finished product measures:
from neckline to bottom 6cm, body width approx 4 cm.
Straps: front straps 8 cm, back straps 9 cm
This pattern is made for a frog knitted with 2.5mm needles which is approx 12 cm tall. If your frog is bigger or smaller you can change your needle size to fit your frog. I recommend to use the same needles size used for making the frog.

This pattern contains only the dress pattern.

If you wish to make the frog too,
please check the author’s etsy page at Claire Garland - @dotpebble_knits

The pattern is written in English.

Techniques and abbreviations
In this pattern when picking up stitches from the knitted waistline, make sure to keep the dress upside down ( right side facing you) and pick up only the right leg of the stitches that shows as a “v”. And for the back, pick up the exterior leg of the waistline stitches.

The increase of the skirt requires a double increase technique which is called kfbf – knit front, back, front.
m1L and m1R - is used to increase the front of the dress chest by leaning left and right.

In my youtube video tutorial, I demonstrated these methods for you to see as well.
