This 8ply children’s Cardigan is worked in one piece, in stripes, to the armholes (so less sewing up required!). Very easy to knit, it has raglan sleeves, 1x1 rib bands and the pattern includes both a round and V neck option.
Style A - round neck.
Style B - V neck - photographed in size 1 year.

Pattern sizes: 1 (3-5-7) years.

To fit chest: 50 (58-63-68) cm 19¾ (23-25-27) ins.
Actual measurement: 58 (66-72-77) cm 23 (26-28½-30½) ins.
Length: 33 (42-46-50) cm 13 (16½-18-19¾) ins.

Yarn required: Lincraft Superwash 8ply, 100g balls@190m.
2 (2-3-3) balls Main Colour.
1 (1-1-1) ball Contrast Colour.

Needles required: A pair of 4.00mm UK 8, US 6 knitting needles.
A 4.00mm UK 8, US 6 circular knitting needle, 80cm 31½ ins long.
Wool needle for sewing up.

Other requirements: 3 stitch holders; 6 (7-8-9) buttons for Style A, 4 (6-6-7) buttons for Style B.

Tension: 22 sts and 30 rows to 10cm 4 ins over stocking st, using 4.00mm needles.
