Notes:
I would consider this an intermediate skill level pattern. You must know how to do color work. You must know how to double crochet increase/decrease. This ornament is made by crocheting to flat panels and then single crocheting them together to create a finished crochet ornament.
Materials:
You will need a 5.00 mm crochet hook, 3.50 mm crochet hook, yarn, stitch markers, and a tapestry needle. Optionally you may want to use hot glue or fabric glue instead of sewing the peppermint onto your cookie. You will also need ribbon to hang your ornament.
Let’s talk yarn!
You will need #4 worsted weight yarn for this project. I used Red Heart Super Saver buff for the cookie. For the peppermint I used Red Heart Super Saver in the colors red and white. Feel free to use any brand or color as long as it is #4 worsted weight yarn.
