This is such a festive decoration for your holiday home! He is the next installment in my gnome collection of patterns. He is worked in the round in budget friendly and rugged Berocco Vintage DK. I really like this yarn for toys and children’s items. It’s washable and durable and has a wide color range.

The gnome is composed of i-cord arms and legs, his cute nose is knitted in as you go, the hat is worked in the round as is the body, and he sports gnatty seamed shoes. I added a jaunty pompom and a holly sprig to his gnomey hat. He will be a favorite every year! Tuck him into any corner or place him on top of a mountain of brightly wrapped gifts under your tree for extra fun! He’s a Christmas joy!
