This red and white sweater is a fun festive knit for the baby or toddler in your life. It is knit from the bottom up and features candy-striped sleeves.

Skill Level: Easy

Sizes: 3 months (6 months, 12 months, 18 months, 24 months, 2-3 Years)

Finished chest size: 16 (17, 18, 19, 20, 22)” to fit chest size 18 (19, 20, 21, 22, 24)”. 2” negative ease recommended. Shown in size 2-3 years.

Gauge: 16 sts and 24 rows = 4” 10 cm in Stockinette Stitch after blocking.

Materials:

Yarn: Red Heart Soft (100% Acrylic Yarn; 256 yards 234 meters/141 grams]: E728_9925 Really Red (A), 2 balls; E728_4600 White (B), 1 ball. (YARN WEIGHT #4)

Needles: US size 7 (4.5mm) 24” circular and DPNS.

Notions: Markers; stitch holders; tapestry needle; seven ¾” white buttons.

Special Stitches: K2, P2 Rib

This pattern is worked flat from the bottom up on circular needles. The sleeves will be work in the round on DPNs.
