“Peppermint Princess” is a summer shirt with two different sides: The back is covered by an allover slip stitch pattern in two colors, while the front just features a few stripes at the hem and on the small sleeves. For this reason, back and front are worked separately and (after some short rows for the shoulder slant) are joined at the shoulders by 3-needle-bindoff technique and sewn together at the sidelines.

Gauge:
28 sts x 36 rows in Stockinette, 29 sts x 48 rows in Quilted Check pattern.

Yarn:
Approx. 600+300/ 660+330/ 720+360/780+390/ 840+420m (MC + CC) of a Light Fingering weight yarn.

For my samples, I have used
1) Buttjebeyy Vegarn (70% bamboo, 30% linen, 400m/ 100g) - to be displayed at the Buttjebeyy stand at Wollfest Kassel during the weekend (6th and 7th of July 2024);
2) the discontinued Skudderia Pinta (60% wool, 20% silk, 20% Ramie, 425m/ 100g) – Buttjebeyy Turin will be the perfect replacement.

Worked at a gauge of 2 sts more/ less on 10cm, the piece will get approx. 10% smaller/ bigger.
