Peppermint Snowflake is a great introduction to stranded knitting. You will only be working two colors during the stranded section and there are only a couple of rounds with long floats. The hat is written in one size that will fit most average adults. If you wish to make the hat to fit a smaller or larger head, simply use smaller or larger yarn and needles. You will use approximately 87 yards of both colors MC and A, and 45 yards of color B.
