Peralta a débarqué à l’improviste dans mon planning de création. J’avais acheté ces deux écheveaux plusieurs années avant et j’avais envie d’enfin leur donner un beau projet. Dès le début, je les voyais en bonnet texturé pour mettre en valeur ce beau coloris de Maison Corlène.
Peralta est donc un bonnet tricoté du bas, avec les côtes, vers la couronne en haut. Il démarre avec des côtes torses réversibles, avant que ne se dessine un motif arrondi et texturé, légèrement ajouré. Sa forme plutôt loose et cosy en fait un allié parfait pour les jours froids.

Tailles : 3XS, 2XS, XS, (S, M, L)

Matériel : Aiguilles 4,5 ou aiguilles permettant d’obtenir le bon échantillon.
Aiguilles 4 ou aiguilles une demi-taille en dessous de celles permettant d’obtenir le bon échantillon.
4 marqueurs dont 1 différent pour le début (MD).
Une aiguille à torsades et une aiguille à laine.

Echantillon : 22 mailles/32 rangs pour 10 cm en jersey.

Laine :
Le mien est réalisé en taille S avec 1 écheveau de la gamme Fisherman Fingering (Mérinos Falkland Non Superwash) et 1 écheveau de la gamme Fisherman Lace (Ultrafine Kid Mohair Soie), de la marque Maison Corlène, coloris Saoirse.

Vous pouvez utiliser une laine DK ou deux laines fingering tricotées ensemble, tant que l’échantillon est respecté, en suivant le métrage suivant :

Fil Lace - 120m, 135m, 155m, (205m, 235m, 265m)
Fil Fingering - 140m, 160m, 185m, (240m, 275m, 315m)

Peralta is an impromptu cast-on which made its way into my designing agenda. These two skeins have been waiting to turn into a fabulous project for a few years now and it was finally time. From the moment I bought them, I knew they would become a textured hat that would beautifully show off this gorgeous colourway from Maison Corlène.

Peralta is a hat, worked from the bottom up, starting with a large brim. You begin by knitting reversible twisted 1/1 ribbing, before moving on to a rounded and textured motif, slightly openworked. With its slouchy and cosy look, you’ll find it perfect for these cold wintery days.

Sizes : 3XS, 2XS, XS, (S, M, L)

Notions : 4,5mm/US 7 needles, or size with which you get gauge.
4mm / US 6 needles, or needles ½ size smaller than tose with which you got gauge.
4 stitch markers, including 1 beginning of round marker (BORM)
A tapestry needle.

Gauge : 22 sts/32 rows = 10 cm in stockinette st, blocked.

Yarn :
My sample was knit out of 1 skein of Fisherman Fingering base (Non Superwash Falkland Merino) and 1 skein of Fisherman Lace base (Ultrafine Kid Mohair Silk), from Maison Corlène, Saoirse colourway, in the S size.

Given that you get gauge, you can use a DK weight yarn or even a fingering weight yarn held together with a lace mohair one, in the following meterage :

Lace weight yarn - 120m, 135m, 155m, (205m, 235m, 265m)
Fingering weight yarn - 140m, 160m, 185m, (240m, 275m, 315m
