Information on Maryjanes pattern:

Materials needed: worsted weight yarn, E4 crochet hook (or hook needed for gauge), two 10” pieces of ribbon, yarn needle (for weaving in ends).

Recommended yarn - worsted weight
Sizes on pattern - Newborn

These shoes are crocheted in one piece (unless you choose to make them in two colors, then you will change yarn one time), no sewing pieces together.

Materials needed: worsted weight yarn, H8/5.00, or I9/5.50 crochet hook (or hook needed for gauge), yarn needle (for weaving in ends, and sewing on your flower).

(I use Caron Simply Soft, and that is what is shown in all pictures. My friend Courtney at http://www.etsy.com/people/DaddyMackHats uses “I love this yarn”, which is slightly thicker, and she moves down a hook size to achieve the same measurements.)
