No definitive amount of yarn is given because this is a true stashbuster. This pattern works up from the centre out. This way, you can really stash bust! If you don’t have enough of a colour, simply add another colour as you go along. By adding single colours at a time, the end result still looks cohesive because the other colours were carried along longer – even if they were also changed later in the pattern.

My finished sizes ranged from 18-22 inches long and 17-20 inches wide. If you want a larger or smaller pad, reduce or increase the number of rounds.
